1987 PRS Standard Crackle
One of the least seen finishes on a PRS guitar, these crackle all mahogany beasts not only ooze a 1980s flavour but they seriously rock. The red and black crackle was an experimental finish trialled by PRS for a few years, this particular example was made in the first year of release. It has one defining feature most crackles which were made in 1988 onwards do not – the early T & B stamped treble and bass pickups.
All original and in absolutely fantastic condition the only flaw is a small chip on the back (see pic).
With sustain like nothing else, this glam rock offering is in collector grade condition.
